Before we start, network with some of the delegates and speakers here today. You get 3 minutes to say hello and get to know a little about each other. You'll then move on to someone new!


10:30 am - 10:35 am - Welcome
A brief welcome to the day's schedule from Jamie Ross, Partnerships Director (South) for UMi. Along with a few tips of how to get the most out of this virtual event.

10:36 am - 10:56 am - Business Resilience
Nick has worked in the resilience industry for over a decade and brings a diverse range of experience across the resilience and counter-terrorism agendas. He also has a head for business! His experience of high profile resilience planning and incident response includes the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, EU emergency planning exercises, and acting as the local authority tactical lead for the severe flooding that affected Surrey in 2014.

10:57 am - 11:17 am - Business Agility
Nick advises on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, shareholder arrangements, reorganisations and general corporate matters. Nick's sector experience includes technology, media, distribution, education and leisure. He has written for various publications, is head of the firm's entrepreneurs sector group and is jurisdiction manager for the firm's international practice groups for Spain and Latin America.

A discussion session where delegates will break into groups to talk about the practical impacts of what has been said by the speakers. Delegates can share their experiences, challenges and impacts in order to share best practice with the group.
